Smallcoombe is a wooded valley hollowed into the hillside on the western edge of Dartmoor, in the South-West of England, UK. The original samples, from which all the sounds are generated, come from recordings I made of a small brook near the top of this hidden ‘coombe’. The music springs from this sun-speckled, secluded place where water runs over mini waterfalls moulded from the pebbled granite.
